New enclosure algorithms for the verified solutions of nonlinear Volterra integral equations

This paper is concerned with new algorithms which provide the sharp bounds that are guaranteed to contain the exact solutions of nonlinear Volterra integral equations. We develop new enclosure algorithms based on the interval methods which was first introduced by Moore in [24] together with the Taylor polynomials to improve the accuracy of the scheme by reducing the width of interval solutions. The modified methods calculate a priori bound automatically in parallel with the computation of solutions of integral equations. We will show that the accuracy of the proposed algorithms is dependent on the number of interval subdivisions. Some numerical experiments are also included to demonstrate the validity and applicability of the scheme and showing a marked improvement in comparison with the recent existing numerical results.     

Periodic solutions of singular second order differential equations: Upper and lower functions

In this paper, we continue the study of the periodic problem for the second-order equation u^′′+f(u)u^′+g(u)=h(t,u), where h is a Carathéodory function and f,g are continuous functions on (0,+∞) which may have singularities at zero. Both attractive and repulsive singularities are considered. The method relies on a novel technique of construction of lower and upper functions. As an application, we obtain new sufficient conditions for the existence of periodic solutions to the Rayleigh–Plesset equation.

研究了保险公司的最优投资和再保险问题.保险公司的盈余通过跳-扩散风险模型来模拟,可以把盈余的一部分投资到金融市场,金融市场由一个无风险资产和n个风险资产组成,并且保险公司还可以购买比例再保险;在买卖风险资产时,考虑了交易费用.通过随机控制的理论,获得了最优策略和值函数的显示解.     

Black-Scholes期权定价模型的五点式混合差分方法

研究了欧式看涨期权定价问题的差分方法,将Black-Scholes方程等价代换为标准抛物型偏微分方程,在时间方向上采用前、后差商,空间方向上采用五点差分格式,再引入参数θ建立一个稳定的混合差分格式.根据Von Neumann条件证明了该格式的稳定性及收敛性,并通过数值计算的实际应用,结果表明该算法适用于到期日较长的期权...     

Two new least-squares mixed finite element procedures for convection-dominated Sobolev equations

Two new least-squares mixed finite element procedures are formulated for solving convection-dominated Sobolev equations. Optimal H(div;Ω)×H ¹(Ω) norms error estimates are derived under the standard mixed finite spaces. Moreover, these two schemes provide the approximate solutions with first-order and second-order accuracy in time increment, respectively.
